Charles Greub to Oversee Company Operations for the Latest Development Project
San Antonio, TX. HollyHills Development President & CEO, Joseph Heitzler, announced Wednesday the appointment of Charles Greub to the position of Managing Director of Hotel and Resort Operations for the company which specializes in master planning and development. Due to his extensive 15-year career in hotel management, Greub has been brought on-board to oversee all hotel and resort operations for the company’s latest development project at Briggs Ranch.
HollyHills Development acquired more than 1,000 acres at Briggs Ranch, located in S.W. Bexar County near Hwy 90 and Hwy 211, for the purpose of master planning and developing a 300-plus room resort hotel, and constructing more than 1,000 time shares and featuring a two-acre water park. Additionally, HollyHills Development currently manages The Golf Club of Texas at Briggs Ranch.
Charles Greub will be solely responsibly for managing and overseeing the operations for all Briggs Ranch entities including hotel, resort, water park and golf club. “In the coming months, San Antonio, Texas will become home to one of the world’s greatest hotel and resort destinations,” says Greub. “I can’t imagine being named to a greater position or working for a company that manages a more exceptional portfolio than HollyHills Development,” he adds.
In 2003, prior to joining HollyHills Development, Greub was assigned by Harrah’s Entertainment to assist in the design, development and opening plan of the $150 million Resort Hotel and Conference Center located in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he served as the Director of Hotel Operations. Additionally, throughout his career, Greub held the position of General Manager of San Antonio’s historic Pecan Valley Golf Club, and held several executive level positions with hospitality companies including Walt Disney World Pleasure Island, Marriot Hotels and Resorts, Omni Hotels and Resorts, and Harrah’s Casino’s and Hotels.
Greub’s involvements with hotel operations have often correlated with the entity receiving the highest possible ranking of customer satisfaction results. During his tenure as Resident Manager at the AAA Five Diamond award-winning Omni Houston Hotel, Greub achieved the highest customer service scores of the Omni Hotel Company. Additionally, in 2002, after the successful opening of the Harrah’s Hotel in Shreveport, Louisiana, Greub motivated the hotel operations team to become number one in overall customer service scores among all Harrah’s Hotels throughout the United States.
